Baking Cupcakes Together
The first step is to bake the cupcakes. We already picked out a delicious recipe for you:
Ingredients:
125g butter (at room temperature)
125g granulated sugar
125g self rising flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How to make the cupcakes.
Heat the oven to 180 degrees
Have your little one put the butter and sugar in a large bowl. It will be a little messy, but that's part of it!
While you hold the mixer, have your little chef add the eggs to the mixture one at a time. Mix until smooth.
Add the self-rising baking flour to the mixture and let your child help mix. Don't forget to add a little vanilla extract for extra flavor!
Divide the batter among the cupcake pans and let your little assistant help fill them. A little mess is not bad at all!
Bake them in the center of the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes until done. Check with a skewer to see if they are done. Let the cupcakes cool on a wire rack.
